What do you do when you are asked to write a book on hypnosis? Well most of us would refuse, simply because we are not hypnotists and we do not know hypnosis. So, we cannot write a book on the subject, no matter what the price offered is. Well, what would, then the case be, if you actually buy a book that is utter waste of other , your time and your money, and actually pay a decent sum of money for it. Well, you couldn’t do much, could you?
This is yet another book by Nathan Blaszak that deals with the science of covert hypnosis. Quite cheekily titled “How to Hypnotize Anyone without Getting Caught” this book teaches you to use the covert hypnosis in a way that people would never come to know that you are indeed using them. The title of the book is quite goofy, if you ask us. After all, hypnosis is supposed to be a secret ask, and you are supposed to not let the other person know that you are hypnotizing them. Getting caught while hypnotizing people is foolishness and that is not what the art of hypnosis is all about.
Underground Hypnosis, by Taylor Starr is one of the newer entrants in the race for being the best hypnosis book available. This book on conversational hypnosis came into being when the author accidentally stumbled upon a circle of people which practiced a very powerful form of conversational hypnosis, which they called Underground Hypnosis. This book, the author claims, has been shunned by the hypnosis community, due to the power it holds. His fact sure gives the book a few brownie points over its competitors.
We often wonder what it would be like to get into the mind of the other person. It would be great to know what exactly he thinks, what he is going to do next and what his views on any given topic are. It would be great to know whether the hot girl next door likes you or whether the boss likes your presentation. If getting to know the minds of people is so interesting, it would be even better if you could influence their minds, right? Well, do not look so surprised. Influencing people’s minds is an art that has been practiced since ages, and is only getting prominent as the days go by.
There are many different books on the subject of hypnosis and there is no dearth of new books, which come up every moment. As always, not all of these books are great, and some aren’t even decent enough. There are some books that are just published for the sake of trying out the waters and testing the mettle of the author. Nathan Blaszak’s Covert Hypnosis is one such book.
We can often hear that hypnosis is ineffective and not trustworthy. This impression is created in the mind of people due to the impact of traditional methods for hypnosis. Traditional hypnosis methods are direct and authoritarian. The hypnotist directly tries to induce a trance in the subject and tries to control him. Most people feel uncomfortable to be subjected under others control. This creates a sense of unwillingness and resistance in the subject. If the subject is unwilling then the hypnotist will fail to control him leading to the failure of the whole process.
The verbal breathing synchronization technique is used to build a rapport between you and the subject. Rapport is a strong relationship and faithfulness between two individuals. Once you build up a strong rapport with the subject, influencing or persuading them will be a trivial task. Verbal breathing synchronization is a powerful tool used in covert hypnosis to build a fast and strong rapport with other people even if it is a stranger.
We have already seen the basics of verbal breathing synchronization for inducing rapport with a person without his knowledge.
Post hypnosis instructions are used to take advantage from response of the subject to a stimulus. This is actually called classical conditioning by which stimulus responses are utilized to perform covert hypnosis.
The characteristics of stimulus response can be classified basically into three
1.Stimulus response triggers happens at anytime.
2.Stimulus response triggers can be setup and initiated secretly.
3.The conscious mind will be unaware of stimulus response links.
